I am currently using Somalite non-Pro version with a child theme, and trying to upgrade to Soma Pro. I uploaded the Pro version zip file and next tried to upload the Child theme zip file. I received this message:

Installing the theme…
This theme requires a parent theme. Checking if it is installed…
The parent theme, Somapro 1.2.0, is currently installed.
Theme installed successfully.
But when I hit “Activate” for the child theme I got:
Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home1/parkerpaton/cogentsupport.com/wp-content/themes/somapro/inc/header-functions.php on line 46
Should I uninstall the child theme and create one manually?
