When I select Home Template for my Landing Page no content is visible when Preview Page.
In Reading Settings I have set Home Page to My Landing Page.
I am trying to get the content to full width and as I understand the only way is to use Home Template.

Did you change the settings in Front Page Settings?
There is a section Home Page Layout in Appearance-> Customize-> Front Page Settings. Make sure you select the no sidebar option from there.

Yes, I have selected the Layout in the Front Page Settings but this has no effect.
No matter which Layout I select Page Content remains invisible.
If I choose a Layout that has sidebars then Widgets are visible.
But in all 4 Layouts Page Content remains invisible when I use Home Template.
