When I try to use any apostrophes or quotation marks in any of the widget text, a slash is being added before each quote.
So for example, if my about text says:
We’re open!
It is replaced by:
We\’re open!
This is a problem if I try to include HTML in my text, where quotation marks may be needed around a URL. This only seems to happen when I put text into one of the theme widgets. Can you tell me how to fix this? Thanks!
