I’ve followed the instructions for adding social media to footer menu →”How to Add Footer Social icons.” I entered, e.g., faceebook.com but rather than the facebook icon it says facenbook.com. Site is under construction.

I would like to remove the links that are written “edit” and “Theme by Spiracle Themes”, which are on my footer.

Hi Thabani,

The Edit link is only visible for the logged in users and it will not visible for the site visitors
To remove the credit link please follow the steps below

1) First of all go to the theme root folder ie (wp-content/themes/krystal)
2) Now go to inc folder and you’ll find file template-functions.php. Open this file with any text editor
3) Remove the code as shown in the screenshot starting from line number 217

4) Save the file and check again.

Note: Make sure you’ve entered your copyrights text here ( Appearance -> Customize -> Footer Settings )
